Repair work on more than 1,000 residential and non-residential facilities damaged by Armenian attacks, completed

Several civilian cities and districts of Azerbaijan were shelled using artillery and ballistic missiles as a result of insidious attacks of Armenian armed forces during peace-enforcement operations, started by our Army on September 27, 2020, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, civilian objects, individual residential houses, and infrastructure was seriously damaged, State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture told APA.

The damaged objects have been inspected in order to evaluate and eliminate the damage, and assessment and work on preliminary planning of repair and construction have been conducted: "The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture has been entrusted with the functions of the customer for the construction of these houses and facilities, as well as the organization and coordination of work to be carried out in the construction process. Work in this direction began in late January. Currently, work in 11 cities and regions is being carried out according to the planned schedule, and all the necessary forces have been involved in order to complete them as soon as possible, stage-by-stage delivery, and return residents to comfortable living conditions. At the current stage, repair and restoration work has already been completed on more than 1000 residential and non-residential objects."
