In the first term of this year, BP's direct (subcontractor) costs on local labor (services) and materials under contracts signed directly with local companies in the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey region and with foreign contractors operating in the region amounted to USD 333.3 mln, and this is 34,1% decrease in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing BP's report on the finals of the first term of 2022 regarding the operations conducted in Azerbaijan.
According to the report, the company has spent USD 87,3 mln on the costs of foreign contractors within the country (on 84 companies) in the reporting period. After that, in the reporting period, BP's costs on 155 small and medium-sized institutions have made up 63,6 mln dollars and 9,7 mln dollars on 15 state companies.
