Executive Vice President of BP to hold several meetings in Baku

Gordon Birrell, Executive Vice President of Production and Operations for BP is on a 3 days visit to Baku. The purpose of the visit is to participate in the Baku Energy Week, which is the biggest and most important event of the year in the field energy industry in Azerbaijan, BP told APA-Economics.

As part of the visit program, working meetings with Prime Minister Ali Asadov of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, and President of SOCAR Rovshan Najaf are also planned.

In these meetings, the progress of BP's business worldwide, as well as in the region, the current state of the works carried out within the framework of the energy projects implemented by BP, and the issues related to BP's activities aimed at supporting the energy transition of Azerbaijan are expected to be discussed.
