"At present, work is underway on the settlement of small entrepreneurs in the territory of Agalı village," Vahid Hajiyev, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Zangilan district, which is included in the East Zangezur economic district, at a meeting on "Sustainable development and reintegration of territories liberated from occupation," APA reports.
The special representative of the President said that large-scale reconstruction and construction works and major infrastructure projects are carried out in the liberated territories.
He recalled that 326 people have already been relocated to Agalı village within the framework of the "Great Return" project:
"Conditions are created for the population relocated to the village, infrastructure facilities are built through state institutions, and various projects and events are conducted. Their employment issues are resolved. At present, relevant structures are working on the relocation of small entrepreneurs in the territory of Agalı village. Besides, the construction of four hydroelectric power stations is underway in the Zangilan region. The construction of the Horadiz-Aghband railway is expected to be completed by the end of next year," Vahid Hajiyev added.
