Ukraine has registered 4,846 new cases of COVID-19 as of 9 a.m. on Jan. 9, bringing the total number of cases in the country since the start of the pandemic to more than 1.1 million, APA reports citing Kyiv Post.
In the past 24 hours, 7,961 have recovered and 80 have died.
A total of 786,306 patients have recovered and 19,668 have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian laboratories have carried out 18,635 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests and 7,859 antibody tests. Over 5.7 million PCR tests have been conducted since the start of the pandemic.
