BSTDB to allocate 900 mln. Euros to its member countries

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) intends to allocate approximately 900 mln. Euros to the bank’s member countries in order to help the sectors and industry branches that sustained greatest damage from coronavirus pandemic, the bank stated in response to inquiry of "APA-Economics".

The BSTDB noted that these are reimbursable funds access to which is extremely limited for small and medium businesses. The program envisages to give funds to the countries which are capable of changing their economies for the better.

Besides, the bank will also offer extra technical services in order to help its clients and for the purpose of easement of preparation of projects including business plans, feasibility study and evaluation of environmental impact.

Note that BSTDB’s portfolio for Azerbaijan makes up 123 mln. Euros. In September last year, this indicator was slightly over 100 mln. Euros.
