“We should wait for a while to determine the impacts of coronavirus on economic relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan”, Georgia’s First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Ekaterine Mikabadze told APA’s Georgian bureau.
She stated the negative effects of the virus on tourism income of Georgia are expected, but time is needed for calculation of regional effects: “It is already clear that coronavirus has negative impacts on the global economy. However, we should wait for a while for the determination of the effects of coronavirus on economic relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Certainly, the virus plays an important role in economic relations. However, damage should be calculated.”
