Premiums on real estate compulsory insurance increase

In December 2017, 9,641 insurance contracts were signed on real estate compulsory insurance, down 50% in comparison with a year ago.

According to Compulsory Insurance Bureau (CIB), premiums from this type of insurance made up AZN 2,855,067, up 106% from previous year. 6,540 of contracts were signed on residential houses and apartments, 36 on administrative buildings, 3,065 on other real estates.

In December 293 contracts were signed on compulsory insurance of civil liability on exploitation of real estate (premiums – AZN 18,750) and 8 on compulsory personal accident insurance of passengers (premiums – AZN 10,318).
