Agreement on preferential trade between Azerbaijan and Turkey will come into force on March 1

"Azerbaijan's victory was the beginning of a new era that will change the trade and logistics structure of our region," Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekjan said during a speech at the Turkish-Azerbaijani Business Forum in Ankara, APA reports.

The Turkish minister said that in this new period, they will be with Azerbaijan, in cooperation with it: "The Preferential Trade Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey will come into force on March 1. We have started work to expand the scope of the agreement."

It should be noted that the "Preferential Trade Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey" was signed on February 25, 2020, and approved by the Milli Majlis on May 31 of the same year.
