Hikmat Hajiyev: ““3+3” format, suggested by President Ilham Aliyev, contains closer integration between states”

“Organizations, which are responsible for international peace and security, are operating in a completely ineffective way,” said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan at webinar titled "The next 10 years of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations" organized by the Center for International Relations Analysis and the Turkish Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Studies (SETA), APA reports.
According to the Assistant to President, despite it, new platform and opportunities have been created in the region after the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from the occupation: “There new tasks for Azerbaijan and Turkey ahead. Geopolitics of the whole region should widely be changed and improved in the direction of cooperation, collaboration. “3+3” format suggested by President Ilham Aliyev is a format, which contains closer integration and relations between states. If Armenia puts an end to its invasion policy, claims against brother Turkey and Azerbaijan, can be a part of the process. This platform will pave the way for us to achieve sustainable peace in the region.”
