“In my opinion, it is a very important event,” Amanda Paul, Senior Policy Analyst of European Policy Center told APA.

A.Paul noted that she is very pleased to be in Shusha because she has always wanted to come here.

“I wanted to come here for observing which works Azerbaijan had done, after the end of the war. Everything is very impressive. Construction of the new highway (Victory road) in a such short time and other restoration works are very important. Now the hope is that people displaced from their homes will be able to return here as soon as possible. However, of course, it can not occur in a short time, because restoration and reconstruction works are still underway and the territories are being demined. But I hope that a big return of Azerbaijani citizens will happen here and they will be able to live together with citizens of Armenian origin,” A. Paul stressed.
