“I informed my Azerbaijani counterpart about the situation in region, about the difficulties we face and the occupation, gave information about pressures Palestinians face every day," said Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki at the joint press conference with Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, APA's correspondent assigned to Palestine reports.
"The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister also gave me detailed information about the results of the Karabakh war and the post-conflict period. I received extensive information about Azerbaijan's efforts to normalize with the neighboring state.
We are a friendly country with Azerbaijan, our friendship is based on history, culture, religion and covers various aspects. Our leaders are determined to strengthen these relations.
We have agreed on the steps we will take to further advance our relations in the near future. We share the same principles of peace, prosperity with Azerbaijan. We will continue our dialogue directly and in other formats in the future.
