Meeting of President of UN General Assembly Abdulla Shahid met with the members of Youth Network of Non-Alignment Movement, APA reports.
Delivering a speech at the opening Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev said that it is Abdulla Shahid’s second visit to Azerbaijan. Prior to this, he attended the summit of Non alignment movement as Foreign Minister of Maldives.
Afterward President of UN GA Abdulla Shahid delivered a speech.
According to him, although the young face global problems they are optimistic, they seek a better and brighter future. They are trying to make their contributions to the process, and their voices should be heard on this path.
President of UN GA noted that active participation of youth is one of the priorities in his agenda.
