The updated Foreign Policy Concept of Russia was published, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
The text of the new Foreign Policy Concept, approved today by President Vladimir Putin, is posted on the legal information portal.
Note that in contrast to the Foreign Policy Concept published on December 1, 2016, in the updated Foreign Policy Concept of Russia, not a single sentence about the Karabakh issue and Azerbaijan-Armenia settlement was mentioned. In general, the document states the thesis that "the main goal of Russia in the near abroad is to transform the region into a zone of peace, friendly neighborhood and prosperity." This fact shows that Russia also accepted the end of the Karabakh conflict.
Updated Foreign Policy Concept of Russia does not mention Karabakh
