In January-March 2017, 13,163,100 tonnes of cargo were transported through Azerbaijan part of TARCECA. Cargo turnover made up 2,744,500,000 ton/km.
According to State Statistical Committee, 7,764,800 tonnes or 59% of cargos were transported by motor transports, 3,653,000 tonnes or 27.7% by railway transport and 1,745,300 tonnes or 13.3% by sea transport.
Compared to a year earlier, the cargos transported via the corridor rose 11.2%. 20.7% or 2,723,900 tonnes of transported cargos made transit cargos.
