News disseminated citing Chief of Staff of Armenian Armed Forces on retreat of Azerbaijani Army units with losses and change of position as a result of alleged firing with units of Armenian Armed Forces in the direction of Istisu residential settlement, is lie, Ministry of Defense told APA.
"The fact that the chief of staff of the opposing side's armed forces has made such a statement when there has been no change in the operational conditions since October 24 shows that he is not aware of the operational conditions. We inform you that there have been no changes in the operational conditions and our units continue to be on combat duty in their previous positions," it was noted.
