Iranian MP: “Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity should be protected”

“Garabagh is Islamic land, it is within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and will remain so,” said Seyid Kazim Mousavi, Chairman of the Assembly of Deputies of Ardabil Province and Deputy Chairman of the Economic Commission of the Parliament, on Twitter, while commenting on the provocation conducted by Armenia in Tovuz region of Azerbaijan, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

“It is very sad and painful that our brothers martyred in Tovuz. I extend my condolences to the people of Azerbaijan, especially to families of martyrs in this regard. According to the clear statement of Supreme Leader Garabagh is Islamic land, it is within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and will remain so. The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan should be protected,” he noted.
