Azerbaijan sharply increased export of chemical industry products last year

In 2019, Azerbaijan exported 536 901,95 tonnes of chemical industry products, which is two times more in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year, according to the calculations of APA-Economics citing indicators, published by State Customs Committee.

In reporting period, value of the chemical industry products, exported by Azerbaijan has increased by 31,7% in comparison with the same period of the previous year amounted to USD 102 876,38 thousand.

Furthermore, in 2019, Azerbaijan has exported 246 442,22 tonnes of plastic and plastic materials worth to USD 179 401,97 thousand and it is 51.3% and 54,3% more than the indicator of the previous year relevantly.
