46 prisoners contracted with coronavirus in Azerbaijan so far

“Currently the number of coronavirus cases in prisons has increased by 13 more to reach 46, said Ramin Bayramli, chairman of Board of Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

“Previously 33 people’s coronavirus tests and then 13 people’s tests have been positive in prisons. Totally, 46 infection cases have been detected. There were persons among the prisoners who appealed to relevant medical institutions due to various diseases. Epidemiologically it has been revealed that there is coronavirus among those who come to medical institutions. Immediately adequate measures have been taken,” he said.
