The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan has announced which services will be provided at their home to people who are over 65 years old, the Ministry told APA.

According to the information, the special quarantine regime declared in the country envisages the prohibition of citizens who have reached the age of 65 to leave the home. It is important for those people to stay at home during a special quarantine regime for protecting from this pandemic.

During the quarantine period, they will be provided with support and services at their home by employees of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection working in the social service field.

Social workers currently provide services to single people over 70 years old; under quarantine conditions, single elderly 65-70 years old fall into this category.

Such citizens will be assisted in housework, the purchase of essential goods, medicines, and utility bills.

In order to use the services of social services, you need to call the call center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare - number 142, and register. In addition, in addition to the appeal of single persons 65-70 years old, lists with names will be taken from local executive bodies.

Social workers will be provided with the necessary remedies. These services will be provided without contact with older people, subject to a certain distance.
