“Mask may turn in source of virus even in a juvenile child”, said adviser of minister of Education Rustam Aghayev at the press conference held today in connection with organization of activity of education institutions during the period of COVID-19 pandemic, APA reports.
R. Aghayev said the disposable masks shouldn’t be used repeatedly after being taken off: “If we tell parents that children should wear masks in massive way, a different situation may also arise. The requirement of wearing of mask by children at the age younger than 12 in schools is of recommendation nature”.
The minister of education said not children, but teachers and parents are mostly included in the risk group: “38 percent of teachers are at the age above 60. Mainly the parents and teachers should be protected by mask".
