Presidential aide: “There is no problem regarding medical mask, control over medicines will also be increased”

“Today, there is no problem regarding medical mask in drugstores”, said Shahmar Movsumov - Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan said the control over medicines will also be increased: “People shouldn’t engage in self-treatment. This also creates special problem for doctors. The treatment should be conducted under doctor’s supervision. People shouldn’t buy such medicines as Arbidol and shouldn’t treat themselves willfully”.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Management Board of TABIB Ramin Bayramli noted that some problems also emerge when a number of medicines are used in hospital for treatment: there is a sufficient stock of Arbidol and other medicines in our hospitals, this week as well, those medicines wil be brought in the country according to relevant order. The titles of the medicines that will be given to patients during treatment at home will be disclosed this week. I would like to reiterate that there is no problem with medicines in our hospitals”.
