The modular hospital of the Medical Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) for the treatment of coronavirus patients has a specialized medical information system for a new type of coronavirus infection, which is applied for the first time in Azerbaijan and is unique in medical practice, it was stated in an article by the Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov on the 15th anniversary of the ministry, APA reports.
The Minister reminded that in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has taken urgent measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in our country since February 27 this year: "Reception and sorting points were established near the border checkpoints with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Russian Federation and Georgia, and professional medical brigades of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, equipped with all kinds of modern medical equipment, continued their activities at these checkpoints."
Ministry officials also praised President Ilham Aliyev's "We are strong together!" Joining the call, he took an active part in social support activities, organized a service to provide psychological assistance to citizens during the quarantine period, held awareness-raising talks among the population, and carried out disinfection work.
"At the same time, our employees joined the voluntary blood donation campaign in support of the call and initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation," said the Minister.
