TABIB: Blood donation campaigns not to be held in mosques on Ashura day

"As you know, mosques do not work due to pandemic", said Gumral Alakbarova, the head of the Microbiology Working Group of TABIB at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

According to her, blood donation campaigns were organized in mosques on Ashura day, earlier: "However, people will donate blood by approaching to the Hematology and Transfusion Center in the Central Blood Bank. We are discussing it with the Caucasian Muslims Office."

G, Alakbarova said that citizens can take part in blood donation campaigns by following all social distance rules, using a mask: "Departments will be allocated in the Hematology and Transfusion Center in this regard and blood donation campaigns will be held here."
