Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Head of the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) of Israel’s Defense Ministry Bezalel Traiber on Dec. 21.
Minister Heydarov noted that Azerbaijan and Israel cooperate in the field of prevention of emergencies and elimination of their consequences, underscoring the need to develop these ties.
In turn, Bezalel Traiber expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations to extinguish the forest fires in Israel. He also underlined the importance of developing cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries.
The sides further exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation and issues of mutual interesting.
Following the meeting, Bezalel Traiber visited the Crisis Management Center of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations.
