Historian from Tabriz: It's the last days of the Islamic government in Iran

“I came to Azerbaijan for one year in 1985. I am saddened when I see these places in this format, ruined. At the same time, I am glad that these lands were liberated,” said human rights defender, historian-researcher of Tabriz origin living in France Mashallah Razmi told APA.

“I have seen war-torn places in different countries. But here in Karabakh, it is different. They cut down even the trees and took them away. You know, they knew themselves that they would not be able to stay here forever.”

Mashallah Nazmi also touched upon the latest events in Iran:” I played a big role in the previous revolution in Iran. At that time, I was one of the leaders of the revolution in Tabriz. Comparing the situation now with the situation then, I think it is the last days of the Islamic government in Iran.”
