Import of medical mask materials is exempt from customs duty until 2025

The import customs duty exemption period for impregnated or non-impregnated, coated or non-coated, repeated or non-repeated, non-woven materials for the production of medical (surgical or procedural) masks has been extended, according to changes made in the "goods nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, rates of import customs duties and rates of export customs duties", APA reports.

Impregnated or non-impregnated, coated or uncoated, recycled or non-recycled, non-woven materials for the manufacture of medical (surgical or procedural) masks are exempt from import customs duty until December 31, 2024.
