Under the supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Republican Military Prosecutor's Office, intensive operational-investigative actions are being carried out to find missing servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, identify them and hand them over to their relatives, Press service of the Republican Military Prosecutor's Office told APA.
After the signing of the tripartite statement on November 10, 2020, intensive operational-investigative actions were carried out to find and hand over the missing servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan to their relatives, the process has been supervised by Prosecutor General's Office and the Republican Military Prosecutor's Office. As a result of operational-investigative measures carried out jointly with the employees of the State Security Service, search teams consisting of employees of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out regular work to search for our missing servicemen.
In addition to the previous information, it was stated that the body of another missing serviceman, soldier Masimov Akbar Yunis was found and necessary measures were taken to identify him and hand him over.
Investigative measures are being taken to determine the places of other missing servicemen, and search teams are currently working intensively.
