The number of newly registered coronavirus cases in the United States grew by 21,329 over the past 24 hours to reach a total of over 32.7 million cases recorded in the country, according to Johns Hopkins University's tally, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Over the same time period, the number of coronavirus-related deaths climbed by 238 bringing the total death toll to 581,516.
United States National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci stated earlier that the fight against the pandemic in the US was "on the right track" and that easing of measures may come soon.
