SOCAR: Dates announced for start of production at Absheron field so far, have been forecast

"SOCAR and Total Companies, which are participants of Absheron gas-condensate field project, located in the Azerbaijani Sector of the Caspian Sea, do not have obligations regarding start dates of production in the field", Deputy Chair of Public Relations and Events Management Department of SOCAR Ibrahim Ahmadov told APA-Economics.

According to him, only forecasts on the first production dates have been stated by companies so far and there have not been obligations on exact dates.

Note that production of the first gas in Absheron field was expected to be started in the third quarter of 2020, project plan has delayed due to logistical problems caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
