According to him, eyes of European countries are on Azerbaijan: “The SGC is realized under the initiative of president Ilham Aliyev. The realization of the project started a few years ago. Realization of this project during the global financial crisis demands a great effort. At the same time, the existing situation demands the efforts to be combined”.
Aliyev noted that one of the main issues for realization of the project is related to the funding: “Representatives of the World Bank and Asian Development Bank are attending this event. They stated their interest in the project and will participate in funding of the project”.
