Ambassador: Lithuania is cooperating with Azerbaijan in environment protection area

“Lithuania is already cooperating with Azerbaijan in the area of environment protection,” Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Azerbaijan Egidius Navikas told reporters, APA reports.

Mr. Ambassador noted that this summer, a summer school was organized for children in this direction, and children who lost their parents in the Second Karabakh War also participated in the summer school: “It was aimed at increasing children's knowledge about the environment and ecology. I think it is important to look forward, to look at how to rebuild things, how to plant trees and to help the environment everywhere, including Karabakh.”
