“The Azerbaijani flag, raised in every village and district liberated during the Patriotic war, was greeted with enthusiasm in Turkey as well as in Azerbaijan: “When Azerbaijani flag waived in each liberated village, region when the call to prayers heard from the minarets, we were happy in Ankara. This war is an important turning point in terms of the Caucasus, the Caspian Sea, and the Turkic World,” said Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Jahid Bagci, APA reports.

The ambassador noted that Turkey stood by brotherly Azerbaijan since attacks to Tovuz started, Patriotic war started: “Turkey gave moral and political support. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated to the world from the first moment that he stood by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.”
