A strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkey with Shusha and Baku declarations has been declared to the world, said Hulusi Akar at the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, colonel-general Zakir Hasanov, APA reports citing the website of Turkish National Defence Ministry.

H. Akar once again congratulated the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the anniversary of the One Motherland movement.

According to the Minister, using its right to self-defence, Azerbaijan ended 30 years of occupation and it established new opportunities for lasting peace in the region.

“Turkey will continue to stand by its Azerbaijani brothers on the righteous work with the notion “one nation, two states”,” Turkish defence minister emphasized.

H. Akar noted that the "Brother Brigade" project was launched to ensure mutual relation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, to coordinate the principles of training planning, management and implementation.
