Agricultural, industrial, and tourism sectors will be developed in the liberated Lachin district, the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication told APA-Economics.
The Center told that there is a raw material base in the region which is considered important for the construction sector.
There are Narzany, Chilgazchay, Saribulag with basic mercury deposits (total reserves of 1124 thousand tons), Lachin limestone suitable for lime production (reserves 4 457 thousand tons), Gachas marbled limestone suitable for the production of lime (stocks 2 533 thousand cubic meters), Novruzlu clay deposits suitable for the production of brick-tile and Minkend mineral water deposits with operational reserves of 430,000 cubic meters per day in the region.
