Hamlet Isakhanli resigns from post of Khazar Universityâ€™s rector

He said professor of the American States University John Ryder was appointed to this post.

The new rector appointed by the Board of Directors and Trustees took the office in the beginning of the new academic year.

Isakhanli said Khazar Universityâ€™s website placed an announcement for the election of new rector. There were applications from the United States, Canada, Germany, Norway, India, Azerbaijan and other countries.

John Ryder will be introduced to the journalists at a press conference on Thursday. Isakhanli said he would explain the reasons of new appointment at the press conference tomorrow.

Khazar University was founded by Isakhanli on March 18, 1991.
