Details of "Temporary rules of organization of flights and passenger transportation by air transport in Azerbaijan Republic during coronavirus pandemic” disclosed

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the “Temporary rules of organization of flights and passenger transportations by air transport in Azerbaijan Republic during coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic”, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Ministry of Health of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic, the State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance of the Azerbaijan Republic and the “Azerbaijan Airlines” Closed Joint Stock Company have been charged with solving the issues arising from this Decision.

These Rules have been drawn up in order to protect health of employees of international airports of the Azerbaijan Republic and passengers on the basis of the factual results of the scientific researches conducted currently in regard to the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, the practices and recommendations of International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Airports Council (ACI), European Aviation Security Agency (EASA) and World Health Organization (WHO) including the practices of foreign international airports and aviation companies.
