Masked people take away $ 10 thousand from driver in Baku

A Baku resident was threatened with a knife, and his money in the amount of $ 10 thousand were taken away from him, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

The information was received by the 13th Police Division of Sabunchu District Police Department (DPD) saying that at about 08:00 p.m. on April 28, when a resident of Baku City J.Safarov was stopping his car of “Renault” brand driven by him in front of the house on the territory of Bakikhanov settlement where he lives, 2 masked persons stepped into the car and injured him in his leg with a knife and took $ 10,000 from his pocket and went away.

As a result of the urgent operational and investigative measures taken by the police officers, the residents of Masalli region A.Abdulahadov and S.Shammadov suspected in committing the robbery were identified and detained in a short time.
