Azerbaijan’s food product import from Moscow increased by 2% in January-September

In January-September of this year, export of food products from Moscow to Azerbaijan increased by 2% in annual comparison, the statement of Moscow Export Center reads, APA-Economics reports.

During the mentioned period, the supply of food products to Kazakhstan increased by 22%, to Belarus by 39%, to Kyrgyzstan by 6%, and to Ukraine by 12%.

Among the most popular products in the food industry of the Russian capital have been refined sugar, flour, and milk-based baby food, dog and cat food, chocolate products, instant coffee, ice cream, drinking and household water.

It is noted that Moscow’s export of food industry products increased by 3,3% in January-September of this year to reach USD 733,7 mln. The share of the capital in Russia’s general export volume made up 9,2%.
