President Trump will participate in a video conference call with G20 leaders on Thursday as part of a joint response to the coronavirus pandemic, the White House said Wednesday, APA reports citing New York Post.

“President Donald J. Trump will participate in a video teleconference with G20 leaders tomorrow as part of the ongoing effort to coordinate an international response to the coronavirus pandemic,” deputy assistant to the president Hogan Gidley said.

Members of the Group of 20 includes Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The virtual call comes after Trump canceled the in-person G7 summit at Camp David in June.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is in self-quarantine after being exposed to COVID-19, while the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for the virus.
