At least three people have been shot Wednesday near the campus of the National Security Administration at Fort Meade in Maryland, APA reported citing New York Post.

None of the victims – including a police officer — are believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries and the shooter is reportedly in custody.

The shooting occurred along Maryland Route 32 near the NSA campus in Arundel County, officials said.

NSA spokesperson Chris Augustine said the agency’s police and local authorities responded to the scene at one of the NSA’s secure vehicle entry gates.

Authorities took one person into custody near the entrance of the NSA.
