Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has left for Uruguay as part of his visit to Latin America, APA reports citing "Haberler".

Cavusoglu signed two important documents in Montevideo and held a joint press conference with Uruguayan Foreign Minister Francisco Bustillo after the signing of the Reference Document on Investment Promotion and Free Trade Agreement between the two countries.

Minister Cavusoglu was protested as he left the Turkish embassy in Montevideo during part of his visit to Uruguay. A group of Armenian protesters gathered in the park in front of the embassy and chanted anti-Turkish and anti-Azerbaijani slogans.

Leaving the embassy, ​​Minister Cavusoglu sat in his car and responded with a "Bozkurt" sign to the protesters who shouted slogans.
