Iran has the technical capacity to produce a nuclear bomb in case it decides to do so, however, the country's leadership is not leading its policy in that direction, Head of Iran Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharrazi said on Sunday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Kharrazi stressed that in case any neighboring state attacks Iran, Tehran ''will respond to these countries'' and directly strike Israel.
The Iranian official added that his country could easily raise its uranium enrichment level to 90%, as it has already managed to take that level from 20% to 60% in a couple of days.
