Grenades and aerial bombs found in two more frontline areas

On January 6, 2021, the Agency received information from the ″102″ Service Call Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about the discovery of shells and hand grenade in Avshar village of Agjabedi region and Khatai village of Agstafa region, APA reports.

According to the information, the special mobile emergency operational team of the Agency and employees of the Agjabadi and Agstafa District Police Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were immediately sent to the area.

Specialists of the agency and employees of the District Police Departments inspected the area. The area was cordoned off by police for security reasons. As a result of urgent search operations carried out by the Agency's specialists, 1 piece of RQD-5 hand grenade was found in Agjabadi region and 6 pieces of aircraft bombs (P-50) were found in Agstafa region and taken to the Agency's central demolition area.

A 250 sq.m of ground surface area around the grenade and aircraft bombs was inspected, no additional dangerous objects and devices were found.
