The first group of Azerbaijani Hajj pilgrims left for Mecca by plane, Caucasian Muslims Office told APA.
According to the office, the pilgrims have already reached in Mecca city.
Noted that the second group of pilgrims will depart at 2:50 p.m today.
The CMO stated Hajj pilgrims will be sent off until August 5 with planes. They will return home on August 21-25.
Remind that, the quota for Azerbaijani pilgrims this year was 1400 and it has been filled up. The oldest Azerbaijani pilgrim is 80-year-old, while the youngest one is 19.
