Armenia’s Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, army general Sergey Shoygu today had a telephone conversation, according to the information disseminated by Armenian Defence Ministry, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
According to the Defence Ministry, during the phone conversation, the sides discussed large-scale reforms that have been launched in the Armenian Armed Forces, security measures being implemented in Syunik Province of Armenia, activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh, military-political issues, and other issues of mutual interest.
