Interest in learning Azerbaijani language increases in Russia

Interest in learning the Azerbaijani language has increased in Russia, said profi.ru service, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

Users of the service have less likely appealed to tutors on learning Spain, Italian, French, Serbian and Romanian languages. On the contrary, interest in learning the Azerbaijani language has increased by 2,5 times.

26% of Profi.ru users were those who want to learn the Turkish language.

Experts attribute an increase in learning the Azerbaijani language in Russia to the presence of a large Azerbaijani diaspora in the country. Interest in learning the Turkish language is for the majority of those who want to travel to this country. In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, Turkey is one of the few countries that Russian tourists may travel to.
