“The COVID-19 pandemic continues to regress in Moscow, no new infection wave has occurred”, the mayor of the Russian capital city Sergey Sobyanin wrote in his personal blog, APA’s Moscow correspondent reported.
He said as compared with the early May when the maximum level of infection was recorded, today, the coronavirus infection cases have decreased by approximately 10.7 times. The mayor also said the hospitals’ loading level has also decreased by 3.9 times.
He said the positive trend allows for passing on to the next level of lifting of restrictions in the capital city.
