Kazakh law enforcement officers halted a criminal group's activity in the Karaganda region and detained 40 people, said the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, APA reports citing TASS.
According to the department's information, members of the criminal organization violated public order and organized confrontations using weapons.
More than 100 searches were conducted during the special operation, and 9 firearms, approximately 200 rounds of ammunition, grenades, TNT, grenades, documents and fake stamps, religious material, and a significant amount of money were taken.
