Armenian-Turkish trade turnover sees fourfold increase over last year

Trade turnover between Armenia and Türkiye increased by 4.4 times over the last year, but export from Armenia to Türkiye - 139 times, APA reports citing Armenia's Ministry of Economy.

The amount of cross-country trade made up USD 324,5 mln. after the embargo on Turkish products in Armenia was lifted.

Export from Armenia to Türkiye has been USD 61.2 million, (in 2021 those figures were USD 0.44 million), and the import of Turkish products to Armenia increased by 3.6 times.

The most exported products from Türkiye were aluminum products, citrus fruits, knitted products, electrical engineering, and others. Armenia exported gold, leather, and jewelry.
